Position Title: Accountant/Auditor

Salary: $36,171 annually, plus excellent benefits package

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in accounting or business administration and one year of relevant experience. At the option of the appointing authority, one year of relevant work experience may be substituted for each year (30 semester hours or the academic equivalent) of college to a maximum substitution of two years.


Duties: Performs operating level technical accounting and auditing work in the court’s accounting system for the State Court Administrator’s office. Provides accounting support for receipts by preparing daily deposits from reports received, entering data received and transferring data to receipts transmittals, preparing various spreadsheets from data collected, balancing spreadsheets, and preparing monthly reports. Audits claims for reimbursements. Provides general accounting assistance to all other areas of the Judicial Branch.
